We Are The Onsite Superintendents
Here at Ron McGuire Custom Homes we’ve seen it time and time again. You come to the job site looking to see how things are progressing on your future living space. Perhaps you see something you don’t like, or maybe inspiration has hit you and you want to discuss it with the builder, or maybe you just want a basic update on how things are progressing. But when you arrive the builder is nowhere to be found, and when you FINALLY get him on the phone you discover that he hasn’t been on your site for a few days and isn’t totally up to date on everything that’s going on there. Your anger meter hits 100 and you’re wondering why you’re even paying them in the first place.
Not Going To Happen Here at Ron McGuire Custom Homes
This kind of thing doesn’t happen at Ron McGuire Custom Homes. We’re actually quite different from most other builders around Austin in that Ron and his father are the on site Superintendents. They check on the property on a daily basis, keeping abreast of everything that’s happening. You want a walkthrough? We can do that.
You want to talk about an idea that you have for your home? We can also do that. The thing is, to us, you’re not just another job. You’ve spent a lot of time with us and we have a connection to you that a hired gun Superintendent doesn’t have. We know your passions, your likes, your dislikes, and we know that, from time to time, contractors make mistakes and vendors deliver the wrong supplies. We don’t believer that sneaking those things into your home because “they’ll never notice” is a good idea and when we find something that isn’t working out, we’re going to work to get that corrected instead of waiting to see if you notice. You’ve invested a large chunk of your life and dreams into this home and you’re going to build memories and relationships in the future. You should never have to remember the time that you came on site only to discover that the electrical didn’t go in correctly and the Super has no idea that a mistake has been made.
We know that building a home is an exciting time, but we’re also aware that this time can be stressful. That is why, as custom home builders, we want to make sure that this experience is as good as possible so that 20 years from now, you’re not telling a story about how the contractor cheated you out of this floor that you wanted or didn’t the garage correctly. Ron and his father retain control of your custom house, which makes all around accountability and build quality the best in Texas.
